Norcangeo Database Establishment, Digitization & Vectorization
VBKOM Canada provided applied data management and interpretation services to Norcangeo Ltd in support of advancing their exploration claims in the Thompson Nickel Belt. Our team collated all available data, including:
- Till geochemical sampling points and data
- Regional aeromagnetic data
- Regional geology
- Registered claim boundaries
Working in close association with our Client, all information was digitally captured into an aligned reference space to inform a robust, central geoinformatics platform for the portfolio. Additional information was sourced and supporting additional files were generated. This included the digitizing of flat plans and vectorization of informing data. The central system has allowed for easy data interpretation, as well as the generation of plans used equally as investor-friendly outputs and as guidance for further fieldwork. The system will be actively updated with new information and serve as a central resource for the Client’s data.
Greenland
Amaroq Nalunaq Project (Phase 1 & 2)
VBKOM Canada supported Amaroq Minerals Ltd in advancing the Nalunaq Gold Project in Greenland. Our on-site team provided critical Project and Construction Management services to ensure the project met its construction, commissioning, and production milestones.
Key responsibilities included:
- On-site assessments and operational control
- Design management and procurement planning
- Site logistics and construction management
- Resource management and personnel wellbeing
Our team operated in challenging Arctic conditions, often facing logistical and personnel movement restrictions due to severe weather. We collaborated closely with our home base team to ensure the soundness of the process design.
